Game Phases

Move one piece per turn. White moves first, then turns alternate.
Available Actions

Scoring
Win: +25 rating. Lose: -15. Draw: +5. Checkmate bonus: +5.
Win Condition
Checkmate the opponent's king, or opponent resigns.
Special Rules
- -Castling: King moves 2 squares toward a rook; the rook jumps over.
- -En Passant: Capture a pawn that just advanced 2 squares.
- -Promotion: Pawns reaching the 8th rank promote to any piece.
- -Draw by stalemate, threefold repetition, 50-move rule, or insufficient material.
Strategy Tips
- *Develop knights and bishops early. Castle to protect your king.
- *Control the center with pawns and pieces.
- *With a material advantage, simplify by trading pieces.
